Why I #LOVEXIT Realty. For me Jim Cramer with EXIT Preferred Realty the answer to that question goes back four years before I joined EXIT Realty over 10 years ago. As I like to say "Back in the Day" I was a FSBO, short for For Sale By Owner. I had just accepted a job offer for a new job after my second downsizing in a career of Information Technology. We were trying to sell our house by ourselves and were not impressed with the tactics and ploys by some of the Realtors in their attempts to get a Listing on our home. I had one Agent that even called me every day for weeks trying to get me to list with him.
Then came along Cathie Heika with EXIT Realty and her approach was straight forward and honest. I took a chance on Cathie and EXIT and was quite pleased with her service and results in the sale of our house. Jump ahead a four years after that and two more downsizings and I was thinking Real Estate again. This time not to selling my home which I had just purchased all of 18 months before but as a new career path as a Real Estate Agent and with EXIT Preferred Realty in Waynesboro, PA.
I interviewed with Tina Long of EXIT Preferred Realty in Waynesboro and other local area Real Estate Brokerages. Most brokerages were stuffy and Corporate America feeling. EXIT had a different feel when I spoke with them. You got a feeling of family when you were in the EXIT Office not Corporate America. I had had enough of working for the man and their interests which was just what a Broker Centric office felt like. Now EXIT was an Agent Centric company meaning they put the Agent first not the brokerage. No more being a number now I could a part of a family who was there to help and support me to become a successful Real Estate Agent. Two days after joining EXIT I was doing my first Open House and writing an offer that afternoon of my second day with my new Real Estate Family. Less than five years later was given the opportunity to become the Director of Sales for my brokerage EXIT Preferred Realty. Now I was helping other new Agents down their path to a successful career as a Realtor with EXIT Preferred Realty.
The pattern was now repeating itself as others had helped me get to where I wanted to be, I was now helping others get to where they would like to be. With teaching, training and coaching on EXIT's state of the art systems and technology. I was now that member of the family reaching down and pulling the newer members up.
